When words get in the way, there’s really only one thing left to do..

Use unedited pictures!

I woke up at 1:00 in the afternoon, just as I have the past few weeks. I was the typical Abbie (you all know and.. love?) today as I did my usual kikay kikay bading stuff. After showering and curling my hair (because I was in a good mood.. and we all know that when I’m happy and I know it, I curl my hair :P), I tried on a new style I am currently head over heels in love with, stood beside the tree and did my best top model-cum-red carpet pose (at least that’s what I was going for har har) with my no-makeup look. Forgive me, please. I am the quintessential girl. Hahaha.

Had dinner with Mark at Bigoli in Trinoma then had coffee at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf after. When two “reflectors” get together, the conversation never stops. Our topics ranged from the light and mundane to the profound and subterranean. Some of the topics that surfaced:

  • Filipino version of Twilight (imagine Filipino James saying “Nagdala ka ng merienda/chichirya?!” and that proverbial Edward-Bella exchange: “Alam ko kung ano ka..” “Sabihin mo. Sabihin mo!” “Bampira!”)
  • Future spouses and/or whether or not we approve of “dating”
  • How we know who our true friends are and about the year that was (*sings* “I’ll be there for you.. when the rain starts to pour!”)
  • Ghosts of unrequited love’s past (“So.. how’s your heart?” hahaha)
  • Multiple intelligences
  • Love languages
  • Dyslexia
  • Families (physical and spiritual)
  • Convictions

Etc. etc. Ü

So that’s pretty much how my day went. Figi, I missed you today!

Oh wait a minute, this entry wasn’t supposed to have words.. hahahaha.
